In Spring 2024, FC Sudamerica boys and girls are heading to Lisbon, Portugal. Players will immerse themselves at the Benfica Campus to learn from coaches from the biggest academy in the world. Players will also participate in the 2024 IberCup, one of the largest and most important youth tournaments in the world. Get ready for an incredible and unforgettable 10-day experience in Portugal!
2024 IBERCUP CASCAIS >
All FC Sudamerica players will participate in the 2024 IberCup, one of the largest and most important youth tournaments in the world. The IberCup features teams such as SL Benfica, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus, PSG, Ajax as well as other European and South American clubs. 2024 IberCup will take place in Cascáis, Portugal and feature teams from all over the world.

– Non-FC Sudamerica players are required to purchase the basic FC Sudamerica Uniform Kit ($362)

FAQ >
What are the trip and expected travel dates?
– Trip Duration: March 26 to April 5
– Travel Dates: March 26 and April 5 (Families are welcome to arrive earlier and leave at a later date).
Are parents required to accompany players?
No, but it is highly recommended that at least one parent accompanies the player.
How will players be supervised?
Players will be supervised at all times by multiple FC Sudamerica staff, volunteers or Benfica staff.
Are flight costs included for parents and players?
No, flights are not included. Families are encouraged but not expected to travel together. FC Sudamerica will share flight recommendations.
Are meals included for players?
Yes, with the exception of dinner when back at the hotel (on some days).
Will parents stay with players in the same hotel?
No, there will be a player only hotel and a parent only hotel nearby. All players are required to stay at the player hotel.
Are parents’s expenses included?
No, parents will need to book their own flights, hotels, and purchase their own transportation and meals.
Will there be free time for parents to spend with their kids?
Yes, everyday once players arrive back to the hotel.
Will parents be able to observe training or visit the Benfica Campus?
No, however, parents will be able to watch IberCup matches and visit the stadium and museum.
How will the weather be?
Sunny, ranging from 60-80 degrees.
What happens if I want to cancel the trip?
FC Sudamerica is unable to provide refunds after player acceptance to participate in Road to Benfica Campus. A player accepts and commits to participating upon paying the initial deposit.
